Beyond Emergency: Intersectoral Strategies for Sustainable Dengue Control in the Federal District of Brazil ^†

Matheus Henrique de Lima Pereira is a Public Administrator graduated from the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) and an undergraduate student in Biomedicine at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul. He has experience in the Brazilian federal public administration, having worked at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil, where he performed activities related to public contract management and oversight, administrative procedures, use of governmental information systems, and support for the implementation and monitoring of public policies.In the academic field, he has participated in teaching, research, and extension activities related to public policy evaluation, logistics process mapping and analysis, risk management, government planning, and environmental management, including training initiatives on solid waste management and composting practices in public institutions. He also has experience in public management consulting, working on projects focused on administrative organization and institutional process improvement.Additionally, he has worked on Health Surveillance–related projects at EPC Consultoria, contributing to the organization of administrative workflows, support for sanitary action management, and analysis of regulatory procedures, strengthening his experience at the interface between public management and health. His research interests include health communication, information management, public health policies, sustainability, and public governance.
