Cover Story: The development of rapid and affordable diagnostic tools for molecular detection has been pushed forward by technical advancements. In this work, an inkjet printer was used to realize the droplet digital loop-mediated isothermal amplification, and a microfluidic chip was used as a droplet reservoir to perform droplet digital LAMP assays. This method successfully quantified HPV16 from CaSki cells, which has the potential for rapid molecular detection and can be extended to on-site analysis. View this paper
