- (1)
- Participants were in-service teachers working in mainstream primary or secondary school settings; studies involving paraprofessionals with direct instructional roles in inclusive classrooms were also eligible. In studies involving mixed professional groups, general education teachers had to account for more than 50% of the sample.
- (2)
- The study examined a teacher training or professional development programme related to inclusive pedagogy or inclusion-oriented classroom practice.
- (3)
- The study reported quantitative pre–post data on teacher-level outcomes, such as beliefs, knowledge, self-efficacy, or instructional practices. Any of the following forms was considered sufficient: means (standard deviations not required), percentages, frequencies/proportions, or non-parametric test statistics (Wilcoxon z-values). Mixed-methods studies were included if their quantitative component contained a pre–post comparison reported in any of the above forms.
