The journal retracts the article, “Forecasting Daily Electricity Price by Hybrid Model of Fractional Wavelet Transform, Feature Selection, Support Vector Machine and Optimization Algorithm” [1].
Following publication, a complaint was raised regarding the paper; the readers point out that the references have many irrelevant citations.
Adhering to the procedure with which we handle complaints, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board which confirmed the references have many more irrelevant citations.
As a result, the Editorial Board have decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s re-traction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Electronics.
The authors agree with the retraction.
