September 2022 - 66 articles

Cover Story: With the help of symbolic computer packages, combined with the Chevalley cohomology, rank one solvable Lie algebras with a filiform nilradical and a given eigenvalue spectrum are studied for their cohomological rigidity. The Hochschild–Serre factorization plays a central role, as it allows us to restrict the computations to a specific class of cocycles characterized by an invariance property, thus providing the possibility of implementing reliable algorithmic procedures to isolate the solutions of the Jacobi scheme that correspond to cohomologically rigid algebras in the variety of $n$-dimensional Lie algebra laws. In this paper, by introducing degenerate Fubini-type polynomials, with the help of the Faà di Bruno formula and some properties of partial Bell polynomials, the authors provide several new explicit formulas and recurrence relations for Fubini-...

In this paper, we present a high-order approximate solution with uniform accuracy for nonlinear 3D Volterra integral equations. This numerical scheme is constructed based on the three-dimensional block cubic Lagrangian interpolation method. At the sa...

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of differential set-valued inverse variational inequalities in finite dimensional spaces. By applying a result on differential inclusions involving an upper semicontinuous set-valued mapping with clos...

When major emergencies or accidents occur, risk evaluation and prediction are the most important means to reduce their impact. Typical risk evaluation uses the failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) method for failure-risk ranking and control. Howe...
