The journal retracts the article titled “Hybrid Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques: A Simulation Study” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the publisher relating to the accuracy of the authorship of this article and origins of this study [1].
Adhering to our procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and the Editorial Board. In this case, the authors failed to provide confirmation of the authorship list, the origins of the study, and relevant supplementary materials for Editorial Board evaluation. The authors’ institutions were contacted and failed to respond.
As a result, the Editorial Board has lost confidence in the integrity of the findings and has decided to retract this publication [1], as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the Symmetry journal.
Ms. Haiyan Zhou agreed with the retraction while the remaining author did not provide a comment on this decision.
