Cover Story: One of the key elements for COVID-19 therapy is to properly balance and adapt the nutritional status and course of the disease immediately after admission to the department feeding the patient. In this article, we perform nutritional assessments, energy requirement calculations, and diet/supplementation compositions on patients with mild and acute COVID-19 symptoms. This article is supplemented with recommendations from the European Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition concerning nutrition of people in critical condition. View this paper
