Remote Sensing Receives First Impact Factor, Highest Ranked Open Access Remote Sensing Journal

We are pleased to report the first Impact Factor for Remote Sensing for 2012. According to the newly released 2012 Journal Citation Reports® Science Edition (Thomson Reuters, 2013), the Impact Factor for Remote Sensing is 2.101. Remote Sensing enters the ranking in the category 'Remote Sensing' placed 7 out of 27 (Q2). It is the highest ranking open access journal in this category.
