Meet Us at the 12th International Forum on Laboratory Animal Science of Beijing, 23–26 April 2026, Beijing, China
Conference: 12th International Forum on Laboratory Animal Science of Beijing
Date: 23–26 Apr 2026
Location: Beijing, China
MDPI will be attending the 12th International Forum on Laboratory Animal Science of Beijing, taking place between 23 and 26 April 2026, as an exhibitor. We welcome researchers from various backgrounds to visit our booth and share their latest ideas with us. The conference will cover the historical role of animal experiments in assessing the efficacy and safety of new drugs as a critical step from development to clinical trials, the recent advances in new approach methodologies (NAMs) such as artificial intelligence, organoids, and organ-on-a-chip in basic life science research and health, and the ongoing progress in experimental animal science. It will explore how these innovative tools expand application scenarios toward more precise, efficient, and ethical research approaches. While highlighting the technical advantages of NAMs, the conference will also address persistent challenges—including insufficient systemic complexity, lack of data standardization, and regulatory and industrial adaptation gaps—that position NAMs as valuable complements rather than full replacements for animal experiments at the current stage. In addition to addressing fundamental questions, the conference will be of interest to researchers seeking applications for experimental methodologies in drug development and translational medicine.
The forum will be an excellent opportunity to engage with scientists exploring the historical role of animal experiments in drug evaluation, the recent advances in new approach methodologies such as AI, organoids, and organ-on-a-chip, and the ongoing progress toward more precise, efficient, and ethical research tools. We look forward to welcoming you all in Beijing in April 2026!
