Pets Accepted for Coverage in Scopus

We are pleased to announce that Pets (ISSN: 2813-9372) was selected for coverage in the Scopus indexing database in December 2025. We would like to extend our gratitude to all of the authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to our journal and helped us to accomplish this achievement.

Pets is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on companion animals. The aim of the journal Pets is to provide a platform for high-quality scientific research related to all aspects of companion animals, including, but not limited to, their health and disease, veterinary care, nutrition, genetics and genomics, behavior, and welfare. We also welcome studies on human–animal relations that explore the social, emotional, and psychological bonds between pets and their owners. Companion animals typically include dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, small reptiles, and fish. In countries where they may be kept legally and responsibly, domestic-bred farm animals can also be considered as companions.
