2020	The inaugural issue was released in September. Psychiatry International was published as a quarterly journal.
2023	Psychiatry International was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). Psychiatry International was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2024	Psychiatry International received its first Impact Factor (1.2). Psychiatry International received its first CiteScore (2023) of 1.9.
