Endoscopic Management of Pancreaticobiliary Disease

Dear Colleagues,

Nowadays, endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), are essential in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases. While rapid progress has been made in the development and use of these techniques, many unresolved issues still exist. Thus, it is necessary to identify these issues and conduct various well-designed studies. Moreover, in terms of treatment, new advanced methods, such as interventional EUS, cholangioscopic/pancreatoscopic-related procedures, balloon enteroscopy-assisted ERCP, and endoscopic radiofrequency ablation, have been developed in recent years, spurring significant progress. In order to further standardize and accelerate the use of these techniques, it will be necessary to accumulate evidence, refine existing techniques, and develop more sophisticated devices.

In this Special Issue, we sincerely welcome authors to submit any type of paper, such as research articles, review articles, and case series studies, relating to the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of pancreaticobiliary disease.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
