Biological and Health Effects of Low Level Non-Ionising Electromagnetic Fields

Dear Colleagues,

Our environment is saturated with electromagnetic radiation from different sources including natural (Earth and Sun electromagnetic fields) and man-made (power lines, radio, TV, mobile phones, radars, electrical equipment) radiation. These radiations have enormous differences in power and frequency and, consequently, can have different, both adverse and beneficial, effects on biological systems and human health. Although high power and ionising radiation adverse effects are much more understood, the biological effects of low level, non-ionising electromagnetic radiation are not well identified and understood despite considerable research already being done.

For this Special Issue we invite submissions that examine both adverse and beneficial influence of low level non-ionising electromagnetic radiation on biological systems from biological tissue, molecules, and whole organism including health effects.

Manuscript Submission Information

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
