Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on integrating educational psychology principles and family-centered practices into healthcare, particularly within early childhood services. Evidence-based approaches such as cooperative learning, motivational frameworks rooted in Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and tele-intervention models have shown promising outcomes in improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare for young children and their families. This Special Issue aims to explore the intersection of healthcare, education, and family engagement by highlighting innovative strategies that promote collaboration, motivation, and active participation from both educators and caregivers.

The issue invites contributions that examine how educational interventions, teacher training, or caregiver support programs can enhance service delivery in pediatric and early intervention contexts. Submissions may include research on family-centered models in clinical practice, the use of telehealth technologies in early childhood intervention, the role of teacher or healthcare provider motivation in successful program implementation, and interdisciplinary collaborations that improve health and well-being.

This Special Issue is highly relevant to the scope of the journal Healthcare, fostering dialog between health professionals, educators, and researchers seeking to improve holistic care for children and their families.

I/We look forward to receiving your contributions.
