About GERMS

Aims

GERMS (ISSN 2248-2997) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding in the field of infectious diseases in humans at the highest standards. The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, clinical insights, and public health perspectives that address the prevention, diagnosis, management, and control of infectious diseases worldwide.

We welcome contributions from researchers, clinicians, microbiologists, epidemiologists, public health professionals, and policy-makers. GERMS publishes articles on a wide range of topics, describing research results in all areas connected to infectious diseases.

The journal welcomes the submission of the following types of manuscripts:
