BioElectronics in FLEXible Technologies 2025 (BE-FLEX 2025)
The 1st Symposium on BioElectronics in FLEXible Technologies 2025 (BE-FLEX 2025) will be held on September 2nd–3rd, 2025, in Cagliari, Italy.
BE-FLEX 2025 will bring together excellent researchers in the field of flexible electronics and bioelectronics, with a particular focus on the development of biosensing and soft-robotics applications. The mission of BE-FLEX is to support the formation of a cross-disciplinary, international network of groups for the advancement of these fields, promoting the exchange of ideas on future materials, technologies and applications.
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Cagliari is a pioneer of organic flexible electronics in Italy, providing a significant contribution to the development of innovative sensing approaches in the field of bioelectronics, from device conception to its exploitation in different application scenarios. Recently, the partnership with the Biorobotic Institute at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, a leading group in the development of frontier research in the fields of biorobotics and bionics, has been paving the way for expanding the horizons of flexible organic electronics towards the field of soft robotics.
