Life Sciences Switzerland – LS2

Life Sciences Switzerland is the largest Life Sciences Society and Network in Switzerland. Originally founded as the Union of Swiss Societies for Experimental Biology (USGEB) in 1969, the society has a history of 50 years of federating researchers from various Life Sciences disciplines and promoting their interests to the public. In 2012, USGEB changed its name to Life Sciences Switzerland (LS2). In 2016, three of the founding societies merged, and more sections joined later, making LS2 the largest Life Sciences Society in Switzerland, representsing about 1200 members.

Each year, LS2 organizes its Annual Meeting, which brings together scientists from all nations and backgrounds to explore the large spectrum of subjects united under the umbrella of Life Sciences.
