Deterministic Mathematics

A section of AppliedMath (ISSN 2673-9909).

Section Information

This Section focuses on theoretical breakthroughs, model construction of deterministic mathematics, and its expansion in application fields. Its core concerns include ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations (including qualitative theory and exact solutions), algebraic structures and topological methods, optimization theory (including convex optimization and non-convex optimization), dynamical systems (including chaos and bifurcation theory), discrete mathematics, and combinatorial optimization. It particularly welcomes studies exploring the integration of this field with application scenarios such as control engineering, circuit design, mechanical systems, and cryptography. As a basic Section of the AppliedMath journal, it aims to provide a platform for research on “solving deterministic problems with deterministic models,” complementing the journal’s coverage in the direction of “connection between basic mathematical theories and applications” and consolidating the theoretical support foundation of applied mathematics.
