Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2019 Administrative Sciences Young Investigator Award is Dr. Michael C. Withers.

Dr. Michael C. Withers is an Associate Professor of management and the Gina and Anthony Bahr (’91) Professor in Business in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in strategic management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2011. His research interests include corporate governance, director selection and mobility, and the management of resource dependencies through the board of directors. Dr. Withers has produced impactful top-quality work at a prolific pace in many international journals. His work has accrued almost 2300 citations (Google Scholar).

As the awardee, Dr. Michael C. Withers will receive an honorarium of 1000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge without a fixed deadline in Administrative Sciences after peer-review, and an engraved plaque.
