The Biology and Life Sciences Forum retracts the study titled “On the Use of Stereo-Video System to Assess Microhabitat Preferences of the Spanish Toothcarp and Mosquitofish in Coastal Salt Marshes” [1], cited above.
Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office to raise concerns about significant misinterpretations of the initial findings contained within this study [1].
Adhering to our standard procedure, the Editorial Office, Conference Committee and Advisory Board conducted an investigation that confirmed that the reported results are inaccurate, as reflected with the increase in the sample size. In order to preserve the integrity of the scientific record, the Editorial Office, Conference Committee, Advisory Board, and authors decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Advisory Board of the Biology and Life Sciences Forum journal.
