Cover Story: The International Civil Engineering Conference (ICEC) is a regular feature in the calendar of events for the Institution of Engineers Pakistan and NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. The 12th International Civil Engineering Conference is being organized under the theme of “Integrating Technology in Civil Engineering”. The theme is aligned with the fact that the Civil Engineering profession has proven potential in integrating technology from many other disciplines for enhancing its application. The conference was attended physically and online by a number of delegates from academia and industry. Invited talks from renowned industry experts and consultants are also held in the ICEC to bridge the gap between academia and industry and to review the current engineering practices, challenges faced by the industry and their potential solutions in collaboration with academia.
