2024 August - 33 articles

Cover Story: In the cover image, there is a 3D architectural reconstructive hypothetical model rendered in false colours based on the level of uncertainty (grey minimum, red maximum) and an extract of the graph algorithm used to automate the calculation of the average uncertainty weighted on the volume (AU_V) and the average uncertainty weighted on the volume and the relevance (AU_VR). This method enables the assessment of the uncertainty of a hypothetical 3D reconstruction of lost or never-built architecture in a sharable, readable, transparent, and user-independent way. The methodology proposes two formulas that aim to synthesize the uncertainty assessment with two numerical values based on the uncertainty false-colour scale that applies uncertainty levels element-by-element by relating them to the relative reference sources and their characteristics.
