Grammar can be improved.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for the valuable comments and suggestions, which helped to improve the clarity and scientific robustness of the manuscript.

Regarding the main comment, we have strengthened the link between habitat characteristics and trout populations by explicitly discussing how hydromorphological conditions, flow regime, and riparian quality may influence population structure, growth patterns, and body condition. This relationship is now clearly highlighted in the revised abstract.

In addition, the manuscript has been carefully revised to improve the quality of the English language, with particular attention to grammar and clarity of expression.

We believe these revisions have addressed the reviewer’s concerns and improved the overall quality of the work.
