In submitting conference short paper proceedings, volume II to Proceedings, the volume editors of the proceedings certify to the publisher that all papers published in this volume have been subjected to peer review administered by the volume editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal.
  • Type of peer review: double-blind.
  • Conference submission management system: EasyChair.
  • Number of submissions sent for review: 118.
  • Number of submissions accepted: 106.
  • Acceptance rate (number of submissions accepted/number of submissions received): 89%.
  • Average number of reviews per paper: 2.
  • Total number of reviewers involved: 54.
  • Description of the process of peer review and/or editorial oversight of all accepted content (e.g., detailed criteria or policy of peer-review, etc.): Each member of the Scientific Committee had at least 2 papers assigned to review. The assignment was based on the selected topics of interest and the relevance of the affiliation of the reviewer. The reviewers did not have access to personal information regarding the authors and their affiliations. Both editors made a final evaluation of the reviewed papers, taking under consideration the scores and comments of the reviewers, before making the final decision on accepting them for presentation. Only short papers were eligible for inclusion to the proceedings. The rest (abstracts) were included in a self-published Book of Abstracts of HAICTA 2024.
