Cover Story: The study of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) continues to be a topic of interest, due to the increasing prevalence and the numerous uncertainties it still presents. Parents raising a child with ASD face daily challenges to meet their specific needs. On the other hand, factors such as parenting style, parental sense of competence, individual characteristics of the caregiver, stress coping strategies, family and/or social support, or relationships can promote or hinder the optimal development of children. This study aims to review, in recent literature, the relationship between parenting styles and the well-being of these families, taking into account other related variables. View this paper
