Reviewer 2 Report

The authors present an interesting manuscript about the "Effects of chemical properties and inherent mineral matters on pyrolysis kinetics of low-rank coals".

Here I described some comments and questions for author´s consideration.

  • The manuscript presents several minor mistakes and typos along with the text. I do suggest an overall checking of the manuscript. Some of them, but not all, are chemical compounds written without subscripts, or a "not english comment" close to the "Index of basicity description"
  • Nowadays, the use of coal is clear. Still, I would like to know if authors have considered performing a co-pyrolisis of coal with other products such as plastics, providing a bio-character to their study (maybe in future manuscripts).
  • Considering the state of coal technology in the current society, maybe the authors could describe the industrial implications of their research.
