Resolution of Expression of Concern

The journal’s Editorial Office and journal editors are jointly issuing a resolution to the Expression of Concern [1] on the article “Protective Effect of Resveratrol against Hepatotoxicity of Cadmium in Male Rats: Antioxidant and Histopathological Approaches” by Najah M. Al-Baqami and Reham Z. Hamza [2].
After publication of this article, concerns were raised about the integrity of the peer review process within the Special Issue “Biomedical Application of Natural Plant Extracts”. After a thorough review of the peer review process for this article, and evaluation by the Editorial Board, the journal is satisfied that the publication of this paper was not as a result of manipulated peer review.
The Expression of Concern is therefore lifted.
The Academic Editor names listed for the manuscript have been updated.
