Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Paper entitled "Research of Modal Analysis for Impeller of Reactor Coolant Pump" adds good knowledge towards existing knowledge.

Regarding originality and innovation, the paper adds significant advances regarding RCP impeller behaviour. Added mass and hydraulic load consideration and analysis regarding impeller natural frequencies is an interesting research idea that demonstrates the necessity of considering them for modal analysis.

Presented work utility and interest is justified and there is a direct industrial application for industrial pump manufacturers.

Work information is clearly presented and well structured.

Scientific rigor and well-founded conclusions are presented according to obtained results.

Few modifications are required for good understanding of the work.

-In section 3.1, the mesh diagram model is presented but no information regarding meshing parameters are included in the section description. This information is relevant and should be included in the section.
