Comments and Suggestions for Authors

1.       The article has been prepared in very good order. However, it is hard to find a clear motivation to review the different available methods to compute the derivatives of the failure probability. The effectiveness does not depend on the methods but on many factors. The authors must discuss and clarify this issue.

2.       The title of a survey on local failure probability sensitivity analysis does not reflect the overall contents, so why not include the review in the title?

3.       The abstract needs to be revised, including the objective, methods, results and implications.

 

4.       It is recommended to include the procedure of the review process and the parameters used, including the statistical assumption.

The failure probability is then written appears many times and please check the connection between one sentence to another.

in this article ,  diffeent methods  of  developing   system failure probability is surved.  some issued need to be noted.

1. references from the last three years should be added to show current and up-to-date theoretical research methods.

2.  failure probability prediction is closely related to practical engineering applications and there is a need to add relevant content in the introduction section.

3. he formulas and variables cited are best presented separately as an appendix。

This paper is well written, but the research background in the introduction needs to be refined, you need to further explain the motivation for writing, and you should compare it with the latest research results.
