Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The statistical parameters presented in line 166 must be corrected.

In line 187 change the figure number.

Mechanical properties must be presented in the paper.

The variability of E must be explained.

The horizontal axis of the graphs must be explained.

The informations about pile test must be provided: values of Strength, friction on piles, bearing capacity, etc..

Answer to Reviewer

Dear Reviewer

Thank you very much for improving the quality of the manuscript.

Lines 41-76 have been added to introduce the readers with the history of geotechnical survey  evolution in Kazakhstan. Table 4 was added to provide the information about the Static Pile tests, including bearing capacity of the driven piles and friction on piles by the lateral surface in kN. The reliability of the data was verified and confirmed both by soil surveys from the KazGIIZ archive and by real soil studies carried out by the scientists and doctoral students of the Geotechnical Institute, who are constantly participating to the almost all surveys during the construction of buildings and structures in Nur-Sultan.

The geoinformation database started to be used by engineering and survey organizations and design and construction companies, such as OO Kazakhstan Geotechnical Association, LLC Sakhalin Center, LLC Geotechnical Center, LLP Astana Geostroy, LLP KGS ”, LLP“ KGS-Astana ”, LLP“ MG-Build ”. And we hope that this work will be extended further with later data and knowledge.
