Although it is well known that at 550°C SOC is eliminated and rest of soil components are degenerate and have morphological changes, consequently the properties of the soil are affected, but the direct measurements of these change are interesting.

I suggest that, with minor changes, the article can be accepted in the journal.

Such changes are:

1. Include a diagram showing the design experimental with the number of samples and their repetitions

2. Improve location map, add: georeferenced, scale, wind rose

3. Homogenize the format of the references and include the corresponding DOI

By focusing on established properties, the study may serve as a baseline for further investigations.

To enhance the research's innovative aspect and provide valuable insights for a wider readership, the authors are advised to consider conducting field experiments involving crop residue burning. This would entail replicating real-world scenarios to observe the holistic effects on soil properties, crop productivity, and potentially even air quality. Such a comprehensive approach could yield more practical and applicable results, shedding light on the broader implications of residue burning and its impact on both soil and crop systems. The reference is not according to journals style.

This topic is interesting. From my commen sense, there might be no SOC left after burning at such high temperature of 600 to 900 degree. This study shows expected results of SOC. The design of experiment is smart and cute. Results are clear. But the quality of figures can be improved by making by professional software such as Origin.
