The authors wish to make the following corrections to their paper [1]. We realized that Figure 4a (regarding the low-altitude field test site) appeared with an altitude error in the inside panel title. This title appeared as “Site at 2400 m a.s.l.”, when in fact it should have read “Site at 2600 m a.s.l.”. After manuscript acceptation, during the final formatting step this error continued in places where Figure 4a was used—in the caption of Figure 4 and in the Results and Discussion. The error was not initially evident because in the Abstract, Methodology, and Results tables the value correctly appeared as 2600 m from the beginning.
Thus, in the corrected version after publication:
  • Figure 4a has been replaced with the corrected version; now the inside title correctly reads as “Site at 2600 m a.s.l.”.
  • All the places where the main text used Figure 4a (the caption of Figure 4 and in the Results and Discussion), the correction has been made to 2600 m of altitude.
Additionally, we noticed that in Table 1, “mm” as the unit of Mean Annual Precipitation (MAP), lacked parentheses. These have thus been added. We apologize for any inconvenience.
