This article entitled '1,1’-Dibromo-2,2’,5,5’-tetrakis(methylthio)ferrocene' deals with the challenging preparation of Ferrocenyl thioethers and the difficulty to control the number of methylthio groups added at the cyclopentadienyl rings. I find that this article is well suited for publication in Molbank and it corresponds well to the aims and scope of the journal.

I recommend acceptance of this paper after minor corrections have been performed. In particular, there are several typos that a careful reading should allow to correct. The numbering of references has also to be corrected.

There is no "point by point" response possible. But I carefully re-read the manuscript and corrected all typos that I could find, in addition to some re-phrasing of words. I also edited the reference numbering and made it consistent
