Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is a very well written review article on the enzymatic conversion of N2 to NH3. The authors do an excellent job motivating the importance of the conversion of N2 to NH3, and an excellent job explaining nitrogenase. To be honest, I had not hear of nitrogenase prior to review of this manuscript. The manuscript was written very well, and was understandable to a novice such as myself.

I offer no criticisms of your work. There are some very minor grammatical issues, but I trust they will be corrected during the editorial process.

Author Response

Many thanks for the positive comments. I have made a full check of the manuscript to correct type and grammar errors, and improve readability in some points.

Reviewer 2 Report

The review reports complete and accurate analysis and comparison of the molecular mechanisms of solar NH3 production and CO2 reduction. The manuscript is well structured, therefore the manuscript could be accepted for publication in MDPI.

Author Response

Many thanks for the positive comments. I have many anyway a further check in the manuscript to correct some type and minor errors.
