To a cooled (0[infinity]C) solution of 1 (0.68 g, 2.76 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 ml) was added successively hydrogen peroxide (30%, 1.29 ml), tetra-(n-butyl)ammonium hydrogen sulfate (187 mg) and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide (20%, 1.03 ml).[...]
