MDPI as Exhibitor for Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026
MDPI is proud to announce its role as an Exhibitor at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026 (78th edition). As a leader in open-access publishing, MDPI is honored to support the global publishing community at one of its most important annual gatherings.
About the Event
Frankfurter Buchmesse is the world's leading venue for printed and digital content, bringing together publishing experts, creative industry professionals, authors, journalists and partners from the technology, film and games sectors. The 2026 edition welcomes Czechia as Guest of Honour under the motto "A Country on the Coast" and introduces a new hall concept.
When?
The fair will take place from October 7-11, 2026.

The event will be held at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany.
What to Expect?
The 2026 program addresses publishing, content trade and cultural exchange, with a new hall concept separating public experiences on the ground floors from international business and networking on the upper levels. Key highlights include:
- Visit the MDPI Booth (Hall 4.1 / Booth C85): Meet the MDPI team at our dedicated exhibition booth to discuss open-access publishing and how we can support authors, institutions and publishing partners.
- Featured Presentation by Silvano Bonfatti: Join Silvano Bonfatti, Senior Product Manager at Tasseolab, on Friday, October 9, from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. on the Innovation Stage for a 30-minute presentation titled "Tasseo's launch: On a mission to enable expert discovery and safeguard research integrity."
- Guest of Honour Czechia: The Guest of Honour Pavilion spans roughly 2,000 square meters and presents Czech literature and culture, with about 50 Czech authors taking part.
- Book meets Game Day (October 8): Publishers, game studios and authors discuss rights, financing and the adaptation of literary works into interactive formats.
