Where?
The event will be held at Westin Grand Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany.
What to Expect?
The 2026 program addresses how to build and demonstrate trust in research amid AI, shifting policy and growing global research output. Key highlights include:
- Keynote on Open Research: Daan du Toit of the South African Department of Science and Innovation opens the conference day with "As open as possible is not necessary but imperative."
- Trust by Design: A panel moderated by Rob Johnson (Research Consulting) asks who decides where AI stops and humans begin, with early and mid-career researchers and publishing leaders.
- From Output to Influence: A panel moderated by Nandita Quaderi (Clarivate) examines China's growing research influence and how its publishing strategies are evolving.
