Prof. Dr. Carson K. Leung is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He is a distinguished researcher in the fields of data science, data mining, and artificial intelligence. With over 20 years of experience, he has made significant contributions to the development of algorithms for the analysis of large-scale data. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons), an M.Sc., and a Ph.D., all from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada.

Prof. Dr. Carson K. Leung has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, with an h-index of 51 and more than 7,398 citations. His research has influenced a wide range of applications, including healthcare, finance, and social media analytics. A dedicated mentor, he has supervised many graduate students who have gone on to pursue successful careers in academia and industry.

As an active contributor to the academic community, Prof. Dr. Carson K. Leung has served on the program committees of numerous international conferences and has received multiple accolades, including the University of Manitoba’s Merit Award for Research, Teaching, and Service, as well as IEEE Computer Society’s Distinguished Contributor (2021 Inaugural Class).
