Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We invite researchers, clinicians, educators, and policy experts to contribute to the upcoming Special Issue, "The Pharmacist's Role in Cancer Prevention: Innovations and Best Practices". This Special Issue aims to spotlight the growing impact of pharmacists in oncology—prevention and early intervention and patient support.

We welcome original research, reviews, and case studies that explore the pharmacist’s expanding role in the following areas:

  • Cancer prevention strategies—including lifestyle counseling, vaccination initiatives, and chemoprevention.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration—enhancing outcomes through team-based care involving pharmacists.
  • Pharmaceutical innovations—covering new drug delivery systems, targeted therapies, and cutting-edge developments in oncology.
  • Patient education and support—empowering patients with knowledge, expectation management, and emotional care.
  • Policy and advocacy—advancing the pharmacist’s role through regulatory change and healthcare system integration.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a timely and impactful collection that positions pharmacists as essential leaders in cancer care. Join us in shaping the future of oncology through pharmacy innovation.
