Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Physical therapy is a core component of comprehensive health care, playing a vital role in areas ranging from health promotion and disease prevention to treatment and rehabilitation. As health systems increasingly emphasize integrative and person-centered models of care, physical therapists are uniquely positioned to contribute across all stages of the continuum. This Special Issue, entitled “Physical Therapy Across the Continuum of Care: Integrating Health Promotion, Treatment, and Rehabilitation”, aims to highlight the breadth and depth of physical therapy practice and research. We welcome studies that explore innovative interventions, collaborative approaches, and evidence-based strategies to enhance function, prevent disability, and improve quality of life. Submissions from diverse fields that intersect with physical therapy, including medicine, public health, and complementary disciplines, are welcomed to foster a holistic understanding of health and recovery.
I look forward to receiving your contributions.
