Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Behavioral game theory is the application of behavioral economics principles to analyze and model situations of strategic interaction. Behavioral game theoretic models have become increasingly important to analyze domains as diverse as coalition formation, social networks, the emergence of social norms, voting behavior, teamwork in organizations, knowledge sharing and many others. In this respect, the accumulation of experimental evidence has been crucial in fostering the development of more realistic models of interaction. This Special Issue of Games is devoted to collecting a selection of contributions in behavioral game theory in the areas of both formal modelling and laboratory experiments. Applications may include markets, organizations, voting behavior, social norms, auction sites, social media, and many others. We welcome authors who are conducting research on these and related topics to submit their manuscripts for this Special Issue of Games.
