Radioligand therapy has rapidly emerged as one of the most transformative approaches in precision oncology. Recent advances in radiopharmaceutical chemistry, molecular imaging, dosimetry, artificial intelligence, and clinical translation have created exciting opportunities to improve patient selection, therapeutic efficacy, and safety across multiple malignancies.
This Special Issue would provide a comprehensive forum for original research articles, reviews, and perspectives covering topics such as the following:
- Novel radioligands and radiopharmaceutical design.
- Target discovery and validation.
- Alpha- and beta-emitting radionuclide therapies.
- Theranostics and precision oncology.
- Molecular imaging biomarkers.
- Personalized dosimetry.
- Artificial intelligence and radiomics in radioligand therapy.
- Combination therapies and radiosensitization.
- Mechanisms of resistance.
- Clinical translation and ongoing clinical trials.
This Special Issue aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and clinical application, fostering collaboration among scientists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. By showcasing emerging strategies and clinical advances, it seeks to contribute to the continued development of safer, more effective, and individualized radioligand therapies for patients with cancer.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Current Oncology is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
