Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Endometrial cancer is one of the most common gynecologic malignancies in many regions of the world, and its surgical management has undergone substantial evolution over the past decade. Advances in minimally invasive surgery, sentinel lymph node mapping, molecular classification, fertility-sparing strategies, perioperative care, and surgical quality assessment have transformed the treatment landscape and continue to reshape clinical decision-making. Simultaneously, emerging technologies, including robotic-assisted surgery, artificial intelligence, image-guided techniques, and precision oncology approaches, are creating new opportunities to personalize surgical care while minimizing morbidity.
This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of contemporary developments in endometrial cancer surgery and to explore future directions that may further improve oncologic, functional, and patient-reported outcomes. We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, narrative reviews, expert perspectives, and translational studies addressing surgical innovation, perioperative management, surgical quality metrics, disparities in access to care, implementation science, and integration of molecular and clinicopathologic factors into surgical decision-making.
By bringing together contributions from surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and researchers worldwide, this Special Issue seeks to highlight current evidence, identify knowledge gaps, and define priorities for future research in endometrial cancer surgery.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Current Oncology is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
