Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Fear of cancer recurrence is among the most common and distressing concerns faced by cancer survivors and their families. It can significantly impact quality of life, adherence to follow-up care, and overall psychological well-being. At the same time, promoting resilience, adaptive coping, and health-related quality of life has become a central goal in modern oncology and psycho-oncology.

This Special Issue invites contributions focusing on psychological, behavioral, and social dimensions of fear of cancer recurrence and well-being in cancer patients and survivors. We welcome original research articles, systematic and narrative reviews addressing assessment, mechanisms, and interventions aimed at reducing fear of recurrence and improving quality of life.

We particularly encourage submissions from experts and researchers actively engaged in this field, with the aim of offering an updated synthesis of current evidence and future investigations on this important topic.
