Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the call for submissions to a Special Issue of Cancers, focusing on the topic of “Management of Orbital Tumors”. Orbital tumors represent a particularly challenging subset of oncological diseases due to their critical anatomical location and the necessity of preserving visual and neurological function. This aggressive and complex group of pathologies demands highly specialized, multidisciplinary approaches to optimize diagnostic accuracy, treatment efficacy, and functional outcomes.

This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge and advancements in the management of orbital tumors, from enhanced diagnostic techniques to innovative therapeutic strategies. We invite the submission of original research articles and reviews that cover various aspects of orbital oncology, including but not limited to:

  1. Advanced imaging techniques for improved tumor localization and characterization;
  2. Histopathological and molecular markers for diagnosis and prognosis;
  3. Minimally invasive and precision-guided surgical approaches;
  4. Applications of radiotherapy and proton beam therapy;
  5. Systemic therapies, including chemotherapy and targeted agents;
  6. Multidisciplinary treatment planning and patient-specific therapeutic strategies.

All submitted articles will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the highest scientific quality and relevance to the field. We encourage contributions from researchers, clinicians, surgeons, radiologists, and other experts involved in the care of patients with orbital tumors.

By consolidating the latest research findings and clinical experiences, we aim to enhance our understanding of orbital oncology and foster the development of personalized and effective treatment strategies. We believe that your valuable contributions will significantly contribute to the success of this Special Issue.

Should you have any questions, require further information, or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support and facilitate your participation in this Special Issue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to receiving your valuable submissions.
