Section Information
The Section “Farm Animal Production” aims to publish high-quality papers on different aspects of livestock production. Papers should provide new knowledge or recent findings, as original research or reviews, on animal production including, but not limited to, the following areas:
- animal nutrition and the interrelations between diet, metabolism, microbiota and animal health;
- the use of functional feed additives to improve animal production;
- microbiota; nutraceuticals;
- alternative feed for livestock species;
- animal breeding and genetics;
- the effects of animal feeding on environmental impacts;
- the use of feed and food by-products in animal diet;
- the influence of diet and rearing systems on animal performance and products quality;
- and feed technology.
