Virtual Worlds Accepted into Emerging Sources Citation Index in Web of Science

We are pleased to announce that Virtual Worlds (ISSN: 2813-2084) has been selected for coverage in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science) in April 2026. Virtual Worlds is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal. The journal publishes original papers in the field of Virtual Reality, Augmented and Mixed Reality technologies, and their applications. The journal’s aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. For theory papers, full details of proofs must be provided so that results can be verified. For experimental papers, full experimental details must be provided so that results can be reproduced. Additionally, electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculations, experimental procedures, etc., can be deposited along with the submission as “Supplementary Material”.
