
Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Gases
Gases (ISSN: 2673-5628) is an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal of gas science and engineering, published quarterly online by MDPI. In order to further enhance the international influence of Gases and support the Editorial Board with additional expertise, the journal is inviting interested and eligible researchers from academia to apply for Editorial Board membership.
Term:
Editorial Board Members will serve for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.
Application eligibility:
- Must hold a doctorate/PhD degree;
- Must have published impactful work in the field of gas science and engineering;
- Must currently hold a position as senior lecturer, associate professor, or professor in academia.

Responsibilities:
- Pre-screening and making decisions on new submissions related to their research interests;
- Writing papers for the journal or serving as Guest Editor of a Special Issue related to their research interests;
- Providing input or feedback on the journal’s policies;
- Promoting the journal among their peers or at conferences;
- Attending Board meetings to suggest strategies for the journal’s development.
