In the manuscript, the author represents: “Fractal characteristics of pore structure of Longmaxi shales with different burial depths in southern Sichuan and its geological significance”. The author needs to change and explain some issues:

1.    Why is the axis in Figure 1B changed compared to 1A? (In Figure 1A, the “sample ID” is the horizontal axis but in Figure 1B is the vertical axis)

2.    How can the author know exactly whether the pores in Figure 2 are of organic or inorganic material? Did the author confirm this issue using any measurement method?

3.    Why does the author not show the pore size value in Table 1?

4.    From comparing Figures 2 and 3, the pore size and distribution are not math. What can the author explain about this?
