Cover Story: Forest duikers are one of the most important groups of mammals in Central African rainforests, and up to seven species of duikers can live sympatrically. A better understanding of the ecology of duikers is essential for the development of effective strategies for the conservation and management of their populations. Using camera traps installed over five years across four countries of Central Africa, the authors have quantified for the first time the daily activity patterns of six species of duikers and studied their temporal and spatial interactions.
